Samsung odyssey g9 microcenter4/3/2023 I had a back and forth with one of the members from (what I'm assuming) their web care team. Samsung did respond to me on Twitter after Hardware Unboxed quoted one of my Tweets. They can claim - without evidence - the customer caused the issue and then they are done. They claim to provide a 2-year factory warranty on this product (in The Netherlands at least) but that's worth absolutely nothing. They didn't respond to my formal notice of default. Their last e-mail to me was from October 17th. I have nothing but disdain for them and I'm never buying another Samsung product again. Unfortunately Samsung hasn't responded at all. Hopefully something will come out of this. I've also been in contact with a YouTube tech channel in The Netherlands who has reviewed this monitor prior and are interested in doing another video about the this particular issue. All of them describe the same thing:įollowed by a vertical crack from top to bottom in the center or slightly left or right from the center A couple on Reddit and a couple on Twitter. Since the last update I've been contacted by more owners of this monitor who experienced the same problem. The shop where the monitor was originally purchased has decided to reimburse me for the money I spent on the monitor which was 1,200 EUR.
